Overview
ZeroData Tools (zerodatatools.com) is a collection of browser-based developer utilities. The core tools process your input locally in the browser, while the website itself uses third-party analytics, advertising, and infrastructure services described below.
Local Processing Guarantee
We do not collect, store, transmit, or process any user input on our servers. All formatting, validation, encoding, decoding, and conversion operations happen entirely within your web browser using client-side JavaScript. When you paste JSON, text, or tokens into ZeroData Tools, your payload never leaves your local machine. This zero-data-transmission architecture inherently protects you from server-side data breaches and unauthorized logging. You can verify this by inspecting your browser's network activity during tool usage.
Cookies & Tracking Policy
Our core developer utilities execute entirely locally and require no cookies to function. The current production build loads Google Analytics and Cloudflare Web Analytics for aggregate site-level measurement and infrastructure diagnostics, but does not send tool inputs, pasted content, generated output, or file contents to either service. Microsoft Clarity and Google AdSense are disabled. The site may use browser local storage for non-sensitive interface preferences such as the selected theme.
Google Analytics may use cookies or similar identifiers according to Google's policies. We do not use cookies or tracking pixels to collect the data you input into any developer tool. We will not enable session replay or advertising scripts without updating this policy and adding an appropriate consent mechanism where required.
Analytics & Diagnostics
We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate page views, referrers, approximate geography, device type, and browser information. Cloudflare Web Analytics may also receive aggregate page-view, referrer, device, browser, and performance diagnostics for the site. We do not configure Analytics or Cloudflare events to include tool inputs or outputs. Microsoft Clarity is not loaded, so this site does not use Clarity session recordings, heatmaps, or replay-based behavioral analytics. If session replay or another behavioral analytics service is introduced, this section will be revised and consent handling will be added before deployment.
GDPR, CCPA & Global Privacy Compliance
ZeroData Tools is designed with privacy-by-default principles that align with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and other global privacy frameworks.
- Right to Access & Deletion: Because we do not store user accounts or save tool inputs to a database, there is no user data to export or delete. Your data remains in your control at all times.
- Opt-Out of Sale of Personal Information (CCPA): We do not sell your personal information. Google Analytics users can manage cookies through browser controls and Google's available privacy controls. Advertising is currently disabled.
- Data Portability: All outputs generated by our tools can be copied directly to your clipboard or downloaded locally, ensuring you always have immediate access to your processed data.
Third-Party Services & Advertising
Google AdSense is currently disabled in the production runtime, so this site is not intentionally serving advertising scripts or advertising cookies. A future advertising launch will require an appropriate consent platform, updated disclosures, and a fresh review of the relevant Google publisher requirements.
For reference, you can review the privacy policies of the providers that may be considered for future integrations:
Children's Privacy
ZeroData Tools does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13.
